STILLWATER JUNCTION
❝ WE DON'T JUST PLAY MUSIC. WE LIVE IT! ❞
Our songs come from life on the backroads, late nights, hard lessons, good people and bad decisions.
We believe in honest lyrics, big riffs, and shows that bring people together.
This is more than music. This is Stillwater Junction.
MEET THE BAND
SCOTTY WILLARD
LEAD VOCALS
The unmistakable voice behind Stillwater Junction, known for his deep, raspy vocals that blend the soul of classic country with the grit of Southern rock.
Raised in North Carolina and inspired by country legends like Johnny Cash, George Strait, and Conway Twitty, Scotty found a second wave of influence in Southern Rock, building a vocal style that merges both worlds.
At 39, he formed Stillwater Junction and never looked back. It’s never too late to chase what sets your soul on fire.

BENJAMIN RATERMANN
LEAD AND RHYTHM GUITAR
“Ratman” handles both lead and rhythm guitar as well as backing vocals. Inspired by his father – a drummer who played with B.B. King, Buddy Guy and Gregg Allman.
Picking up his first guitar at 13, Ratman’s style is rooted in the blues and Southern Rock, influenced by Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Allman Brothers and the Grateful Dead.
A true improviser, his playing passionate, unpredictable, and always in the moment.

NATHAN RATERMANN
BASS GUITAR
From Mount Airy, Nathan is the backbone of Stillwater Junction. Hooked on music at 4, he’s played in multiple bands and shared stages with acts like Chris Daughtry and .38 Special.
Starting on drums, then guitar, he found his home on bass – the heartbeat, the low-end drive, the glue that holds it all together.
A father of four and a former bridge welder, Nathan brings real-life experience to every note he plays.

NATHAN BROWN
DRUMS / PERCUSSION
The rhythmic engine of Stillwater Junction, bringing precision, power, and Carolina soul to every show. His drumming journey started at 14 after seeing KISS live – and he’s been laying down the beat ever since.
From folk/Americana roots to Southern Rock stages, Nathan’s grooves are tight, tasteful, and full of grit.
Quick with a joke and a fan favorite offstage, he holds down the beat with unmatched energy and heart.
